Catherine Jones
Miss Jones (pictured above, right) was the Librarian at Garfield High
School between 1955 and 1985.  In 1985 because of her outstanding
and inspirational work, the administration, faculty and staff named the
           library in her honor.

The library at Garfield High School circa 1969. The library
was originally located on the first floor of the 400 building
(room 412 and the Community Room).  It was moved into
the newly constructed 200 building in 1976.
