SAS Academic Pathways

 

In addition to the coursework listed above, students also have access to a wide range of electives including AP Environmental Science, AP Psychology, AP European History, AP Computer Science, AP Spanish Language, AP Spanish Literature, Studio Art, Dance, Drama, Yearbook, Academic Decathlon, Speech and Debate, Video Production, and Leadership.

 

Garfield students also have the opportunity to experience concurrent enrollment with East Los Angeles College (ELAC).  Professors from ELAC offer a wide range of courses on Garfield's campus for free after school.  Students who participate all semesters of high school have the opportunity to graduate high school with college credits and a certificate in Business.
