How do I enroll in SAS?

SAS is open to all students of LAUSD who meet the eligibility criteria.

For students who reside within Garfield High School's attendance boundaries

For students who reside outside Garfield High School's attendance boundaries

If a student wants to attend the SAS program and Verification of Eligibility ("giftedness") has not been determined, the student/family/sending school must complete the Verification of Eligibility before enrolling. Incoming freshmen and their parents/guardians are encouraged to attend an orientation meeting before the beginning of the new school year, which will provide additional information.
