The Graphic Organizers that we will use are:
- 1. Cornell Notes
- 2. Basic outline – Writing assesment also 5 paragraphs essay format.
- 3. Free form web
- 4. Venn Diagrams (2,3,4 circle)
The rationale behind this decision is/are (i.e. proven effectiveness via student work samples, useful for all content areas):
Cornell notes are alredy in use by all Magnet teachers where appropiate as part of an incorporation of and AVID strategies into the program.
Various other types of organizors listed above along with others allow teachers to address various student learning styles and provide an additional way to provide more personalized instruction for Computer Science Magnet students.
Please staple/enclose copy of the Graphic Organizer with this sheet and submit to Ms. Castillo at the end of the day.
