Geometry AB

The purpose of Geometry is to present geometrical concepts and patterns that are important to the development of students’ thinking and problem-solving skills. The students work with the body of geometry theorems, including theorems involving two and three dimensions. The geometry skills and concepts developed in this discipline are useful to all students. Aside from learning these skills and concepts, students will develop their ability to construct formal, logical arguments and proofs in geometric settings and problems. Geometry AB meets the UC/CSU admission requirement.
