The goal of the course is to start financial planning sooner than later. Implementing smart financial planning that will help the students start on the right foot. For many students, going to college will be the first time they will be faced with a harsh financial reality. The majority of students will make one of the biggest investments of their life before they even turn 21 years old. With college loans ranging from $20,000 to $100,000, students need to be prepared for the challenges ahead.

EverFi is a great tool for teachers to reinforce lectures and help students visualize the lectures into fun and interactive activities.

According to a 2021 study from the Milken Institute, only 57% of adults in the United States are financially literate. The need for financial literacy programs is undeniable, with many states now requiring personal finance courses to graduate from high school.

Personal financial education is more than dollars and cents. It’s about establishing better spending habits, instilling confidence, and equipping the next generation with the real world skills to manage financial goals and milestones.
