Welcome
I was born and raised in East Los Angeles. I attended Marianna Ave, Griffith Junior High and Garfield High School. I earned my B.S. in Applied Mathematics from UCLA. It has been a privilege to work at Garfield since 1997 as a mathematics teacher. I enjoy what I do and my vision is to instill in our students that as long as they try they can do. This goes for math or everyday life experiences. As an alumni of Garfield, I take great pride in serving my community and in providing the highest quality education to my students.
