Hello Garfield HS Parents and Students,
My name is Marcelino Blanco and this school year I am teaching Algebra 1 and Geometry. I am a graduate of the Los Angeles Unified School District (Venice High School). I graduated from Cal State University, Northridge in the Spring of 1992 and started my career in education that fall at nearby Stevenson Middle School. I moved on to teach at the high school level in 2003 at nearby Wilson High School and in 2015 I was lucky enough to be able to transfer to Garfield High School. I am VERY happy to be part of Garfield HS and I hope you are too.
