1SG Eason was born September 4, 1952 a Native of Austin Texas, the oldest of five children.  He attended and graduated from local High school and enlisted into the US Army September 14, 1972.   Served 24 years and 6 months in the US Army and after retirement from the U.S. Army graduated from Vincennes University Magna Cum Laude AA Science, National University, Magna Cum Laude BA Behavior Science, MA Psychological Counseling.  Current status is a licensed Marriage Family Therapist for the State California and the Senior Army Instructor sine 1998 at Garfield High school Army JROTC.

After initial entry into the U.S. Army September of 1972, first duty assignments:

 

Mar 1973 – Oct 1976 Logistical Clerk – Fort Hood, Texas

 

Oct 1976 – Dec 1979 – Administrative Specialist Asschaffenburg Germany

 

Dec 1979 – Aug 1983 – U.S. Army Recruiter – Conroe, Texas

 

Aug 1983 – Dec 1984 - On Production Station Commander – Conroe, TX

 

Dec 1984 – Oct 1987 – Senior Recruiter Trainer – Houston Recruiting Bn

 

Oct 1987 – Nov 1987 – On Production Station Commander – Conroe, TX

 

Nov 1987 – Mar 1990 – Instructor/Writer US Army Recruiting School, Fort Benjamin Harrison Indiana

 

Mar 1990 – Oct 90 Senior Recruiter Trainer – Seattle Recruiting Battalion

 

Oct 90 – Nov 92 First Sergeant US Army Recruiting – Seattle Recruiting Battalion

 

Nov 92 – Mar 97 – Master Trainer – US Army Recruiting Los Angeles Battalion

 

Awards include the Meritorious Service medal, Army Commendation medal with three Oak Leaf Cluster, Army Achievement medal, and the Army Volunteer Service medal.
