All of our college rep visits will be virtual this year. Students must log into their Naviance student account to register for this Virtual College Rep Visits.

Garfield students this is Miss Lopez your College advisor and today I'm going to show you how to access your Naviance student account why do you need access to that account you are great this year our College Representatives will be holding virtual visit they will be scheduled so in order to you guys schedule who's coming when they're coming and to see the login information for those virtual visit everything is going to be in Navia you're going to need to make sure you can access to register for these college prep visit the first thing you're going to do is you're going to go to this website here that'll take you to our LAUSD post-secondary success website you're going to scroll all the way to the bottom and you will see the Ford Naviance login button you're a student so you're going to click on the Naviance student login when you do that you'll see two different ways that you can log into Naviance you can either use your active directory or clever students use either one and they both should work on sometimes only one work so I'm you can try active directory and then log in with your LAUSD username I mean your email and your password either way it has to be your LAUSD email and password you might put in your LAUSD email and password and get a message that says that your password has expired if that's the case and you do need to reset password before you can create another video and post it on how to reset your password but assuming that you're able to log into your Naviance account it's going to look like this is a landing page lots of great stuff on here today I'm going to highlight the what's new section because this is where it list all the college visit that are already scheduled for Garfield suit so if you notice Mount Saint Mary's is schedule be here UCLA UC Santa Barbara and Mills College so let's say you want to register for one of these virtual visits you're going to click the more information link and it'll take you to the to see more information you get to see who's the representative is going to be but who's going to be leading the presentation will see the date and the time you are so if you click on the name of the school it'll take you to the school's website if you want to do some research before the presentation there is a register button here on the upper right hand corner and so this if you click register you'll get email sent to your LAUSD email that confirms that you have registered for this virtual College visit what does that mean that means that the date of the presentation in this case September 9th you will get an Mel that morning with the either resume or whatever links the representative is using for this presentation so you won't have to wait for me to post everything on schoology because you will get an email the day of with everything you're going to need to log into this presentation pretty cool if you hit back you'll get a calendar view and then I'll show you which presentation I've already registered for and which one so you can go ahead and and register right on here and I hope this was helpful for you if you have any additional questions please please please send me a message schoology or send me an email with your question but I hope that you all are have access to Naviance and login and then you start signing or some of these college visits Bulldogs
