No School Today!
There will be no school today – Monday 8/21 due to Tropical Storm Hillary.
STUDENTS:
1) Your IXL was still due yesterday @ 11:59pm and will be checked this morning for credit. However, take this extra day to complete your other homework worksheet on radicals that was assigned on Thursday if you did not already turn it in on Friday. Do not submit on Schoology.
2) If you have any pending forms that have yet to be reviewed and signed, make sure those are completed as well in order to turn into me tomorrow, Tuesday when we are expected to return to school.
3) If you have yet to subscribe one of your parent/guardian to this Garfield webpage to receive notifications, and/or create your Quizizz.Com account, make sure you take care of that as well, as I will be checking you off on those tasks also and updating the gradebook for Week #1.
4) Even though we will not be meeting today in class, I have already posted your Week #2 IXL skills (there will be 2 this next week - Codes: QZT & PGH) for those that wish to work on those and get a head-start to the week’s assignments.
5) If you were not here last Thursday and/or did not complete your diagnostic given that day, please come make it up/complete tomorrow morning before school. Make sure you give yourselves enough time to complete. I should be in the classroom as early as 7:30am.
6) Lastly, reminder that you have your first "official" Quiz tomorrow, Tuesday! It will have a combination of questions from information given this first week back to school from those important forms/syllabus given and some basic math skills we reviewed on warm-ups. No calculators will be allowed, however will allow you to use your warm-ups for the math question parts.
