Hanging out together
The voluminous hair on top was all the rage in 1944. Actress Rita Hayworth wore this new style with her curly hair creating natural height. Also called a pompadour, this hairstyle was created by making big rolls when hair lacked natural curl and volume. Notice the bobby sox too.
