Welcome to the 2022-2023 School Year!

Greeting parents and students! I have been on the Garfield staff since 2014. As the Academic Counselor for all CS Magnet students, I am here to provide academic, emotional, and social support. I started my career in LAUSD as a Social Studies teacher and then moved into counseling. I meet with students individually and as a group to review graduation requirements and monitor their individual graduation plan.

I host informational meetings for parents on understanding your child’s transcript, report card and planning for the next school year. I will post those meetings on Schoology, the @garfieldmagnet Instagram and inform students. If you are unsure who you need to speak to, you can always give me a call and I can direct you. I look forward to working with you all.
