Welcome Families!

I am so honored to be your child’s teacher this 2025-2026 school year. It will be my joy to share pivotal moments with them and guide them to the best of my ability. Know that my mission is to see them blossom and to be an active agent in their academic growth.

This year I will be working closely with your juniors to celebrate and elevate our relationship with literature and writing. Our students will delve deep into various text selections. They will practice deconstructing speeches and historical documents as well as articles current to our times. Our goal is to help students critique and evaluate topics from different angles and perspectives so as to polish their own voice.

You are a vital part of our team. Your support in making sure that our students are here on time and practicing material at home goes a long way. I sincerely thank you for your help this year. We are so fortunate, here at Garfield HS, to count with your flexibility, your patience and willingness to support our youth. Indeed, we are better together.

Es un honor ser la maestra de su estudiante en este año escolar del 2025-2026. Sera un verdadero gusto poder guiarles y compartir con ellos momentos claves en su paso por la preparatoria. Sepan que mi misión es verles florecer y ser un agente activo en su desarrollo académico.

Este año estaré trabajando con los cursantes de onceavo grado. En esta curso celebraremos y elevaremos nuestra relación con la literatura y la escritura. Nuestros estudiantes aprenderán a profundizar en análisis, a desglosar diferentes perspectivas y angulos literarios, así como a pulir su voz al evaluar y criticar la retorica de multiples autores.

Ustedes son una parte fundamental de nuestro equipo. Su apoyo al asegurarse que nuestros estudiantes estén aquí a tiempo y practiquen la materia en casa es de mucha ayuda. Mis mas sinceras gracias. Somos muy afortunados aquí en GHS en contar con su flexibilidad, paciencia y deseo de ayudar a nuestros jóvenes. Realmente, juntos somos mejores.
