Meet Mrs. Magallanes
This is my 16th year teaching at Garfield High School and my 22st year as an English teacher. Before teaching high school, I taught writing and literature courses at CSULA. I have a Master's Degree in English Composition, Rhetoric, and Writing. I've also worked as a book editor, and have published short fiction and poetry. I'm married to a music teacher and we have two children.
I look forward to another wonderful year as your teacher!
