On Friday, February 9th, our girls basketball team won the Eastern League Championship for the 5th consecutive year!
Dianna Gonzalez lead the way with 16 rebounds and 14 points while Jaylene followed with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Zaira Velasquez had a quiet 12 rebounds but made her presence known on the defensive end with 4 blocked shots.
Today, February 14, the girls face the View Park Knights in the first round of the CIF-LA City Section Division 1 playoffs. Game begins at 7pm at Garfield High School.
