Live Homework Help

Live Homework Help is geared to students in grades 4-12 and provides them with homework assistance in English, Math, Science, and Social Studies. The program is an Internet-based service which connects students with qualified tutors in real time online via a chat mode_ Live Homework Help, which is available in English and Spanish, is free and can be accessed at www.librarytutor.org (new and easier URL) or through the Library's Web site.

Students can use Live Homework Help from many locations where computer access is available - home, schools, parks, boys and girls clubs, and in all County libraries. All that is needed is an Internet connection and a County of Los Angeles Public Library card which can be obtained free of charge at any County Library.

The Los Angeles County Office of Education has partnered with the County Library to bring this award-winning program to our students. We hope you will continue to. assist us in this effort by reminding your teachers and parents of the program and encourage them to introduce their students to Live Homework Help. Last year, more than 22,000 students used this service during the school year. We are hoping to increase its use this year.
