Like many other Garfield Marching Band alumni,
I too have taken everything that "poppy" (yes, that was our nickname for him back then) has taught us. I have often told and retold my children that "perfect practice makes a perfect performance!". To this day I still walk tall..shoulders back chest out high held high..just like poppi told us! I will never forget the influence he had on us and his dedication was relentless! Where ever you are Mr. Manyweather thank you! for making my high school years unforgettable!
