AP Biology

In teaching Advanced Placement Biology at James A. Garfield High School, I hope to not only help students pass the Advanced Placement examination on May 14, 2021, but also to help them come to a deeper understanding and appreciation of the natural world around them, to help them become better analytical thinkers, and to help them not shy away from searching for answers themselves.  The AP Biology course is designed as a 2-semester college level course that covers all of the California State Standards for Biology and beyond.
