2016 Global Camping Trip
CLOTHING AND EQUIPMENT LIST
All students must bring a sleeping bag or one (1) double sheet or two (2) single sheets and a blanket. The bed and mattresses are furnished at the Center.
1 pair of pajamas
1 pair of slippers
comfortable, closed-toe shoes for walking
2 extra pairs of socks
1 warm jacket or heavy sweater
1 warm shirt or blouse
1 pair of pants or jeans
1 pair of shorts
1 bath towel
duffle bag or suitcase
comb or hairbrush
1 raincoat (in season)
1 cap and gloves (cold weather)
1 swim suit (June-September)
1 beach towel (June-September)
Luggage space on the bus is limited. Only one small suitcase and sleeping bag per student.
Dresses, skirts, leather-soled shoes and sandals are NOT recommended.
Initialing of clothing and equipment by each student will help prevent loss and confusion. New or expensive clothing is not recommended.
DO NOT BRING: FOOD, GUM, OR ELECTRONICS, INCLUDING MEDIA PLAYERS (iPODS), GAMES OR TABLETS (iPADS).
Cellular telephones will be collected upon arrival. They will be labeled and stored until the end of the trip on Sunday. This is done both to protect students’ property and to remove distractions from the program.
