Course Description
ALGEBRA 2A:
Our main Goal this year in this math class will be to strengthen basic skills, demonstrate a practical purpose for mathematics, and develop problem-solving strategies. Students will expand on the concepts of Algebra 1 and learn new skills and concepts. Some of the topics covered will include: polynomials, rational expressions, complex numbers, systems of linear and quadratic equations, exponential and logarithmic functions, sequences and series, probability, and conics. All topics will be addressing all key content standards outlined in the California Common Core Content Standards for Mathematics for preparation of the Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC).
OFFICE HOURS: Monday 12:45 - 1:15 pm
