Welcome back to all returning students with a special welcome to all new members of our Garfield Family!

The 2015-2016 school year begins on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at 7:50 a.m. To ensure a smooth first day of school, we ask that students attend REGISTRATION DAY on the designated day for their grade beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the Auditorium.

Seniors (12th) – Monday, August 10th

Juniors (11th) – Wednesday, August 12th

Sophomores (10th) – Friday, August 14th

Freshmen (9th) – Thursday, August 13

The first part of the program will include general information provided by Garfield’s Associated Student Body (ASB), Class Representatives, College Advisor, and Counselors.

During the second part of the program, students will be able to receive a copy of his/her Fall Schedule and have the opportunity to submit a program change to the counseling office if necessary.

Students will also be able to pick up required textbooks for each class and purchase their P.E. clothes for $22.00.

PLEASE NOTE:
In order to receive their class schedule, students must return a completed 2015-2016 Meal Application form which will be mailed home during the last week of July and the enclosed 2015-2016 Emergency Card.
Parents and guardians may also submit a meal application online. The application will be processed within 24 hours, and you will NOT have to fill out a paper copy.

We will be holding a MANDATORY 9th Grade Orientation on Wednesday, August 12th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. beginning in the Auditorium.  This orientation is for incoming 9th graders and their families.

A campus overview will be provided and important information regarding policies and procedures will be discussed. In addition, you will meet key school personnel and learn about the array of outstanding classes, programs, clubs, athletic teams, and many other extra-curricular activities that exist on our campus.
